Strategy: Create a virtual peer-to-peer fundraiser and social media contest to engage students and donors under COVID-19 restrictions.
Tactics:
Secure sponsorship from 6 TEEEM partners for a social media contest.
Host a 10-week socially distanced 5k walk/run from Sept 29 to Dec 1, 2020.
Create a landing page using Classy for peer-to-peer fundraising and student engagement tracking.
Coordinate participation of 12 TEEEM clubs with teacher advisors at 10 New Jersey high Schools.
Launch #TEEEMFallFun - a UGC social media campaign + giveaway to amplify the campaign to potential donors.
Outcome: $7,500 raised in 10 weeks through social media and field fundraising.
